I grew up surrounded by my mother's, aunt's, and grandmother's jewelry, pieces worn every day, passed between women, tied to memory and protection. Those heirlooms are still my most precious belongings.

That's where whywhy started.

In Istanbul, gold has always meant something alive. It's not decoration, it's identity. When I moved to New York, I found fine jewelry beautiful but quiet. I wanted something with more color, more personality, more of that feeling I grew up with.

So I built it. whywhy NYC is 14K solid gold, real material, no compromise, designed with color and intention. Each piece is sourced from skilled artisans in Istanbul, chosen by me for their craft and character.

Gold chosen with care becomes something deeply personal. It keeps its worth. It gets passed forward.
